Celebrating 10 years of GO Get Organised

The end of 2022 marked the 10th anniversary of GO Get Organised, giving us an opportunity to reflect on the exciting journey we’ve been on, and celebrate some of our achievements.

When we first started out back in 2012, we were a small team of just four. We’d come up with an innovative idea: to gather a network of experienced professionals looking for flexible work, and match them with businesses looking for affordable support.

The idea proved to be a winner, and over the years we’ve gone from strength to strength. There are now 30 members of the GO Get Organised team, and together we’ve worked with over 300 clients.

Between us we now cover a wide range of specialisms; our team includes marketing consultants, web developers, graphic designers, SEO and social media experts, transcribers, personal assistants and much more. Our key selling points have always been affordability and flexibility, as well as one-stop access to a pool of skills and expertise.

Our clients have varied in size and location – from small, local start-ups to larger businesses all over the UK. The work has also varied hugely, from one-off projects to regular ad hoc support, to ongoing long-term arrangements. We’re always happy to help if we possibly can – and we have had some pretty challenging requests!

Working as a team means that we can usually mix and match skills and availability to suit the needs of each individual client. Here are a couple of examples:

We’ve helped start-ups establish their brand in a really cost-effective way, as we can offer affordable bespoke packages that draw on the expertise of our various team members (eg logo design, website development, content writing).

We’ve built up a solid reputation in the world of TV post-production transcription services, and have a group of skilled transcribers in place ready to respond quickly when required.

Over the last couple of years, with lockdowns prompting greater recognition and popularity of flexible working practices, our business model has become more relevant than ever. In the post-pandemic world, GO Get Organised is in a strong position to keep growing.

One area of real interest to us is working with other networks; specifically practices of consultants that work together but increasingly remotely, with no central ‘office’. We’re ideally placed to provide the project management and admin support that these practices need, in a flexible and affordable way. We are already working with a couple of clients in this field, and we’d love to expand on this in the coming months.

So, as we welcome in 2023, we’d like to take the opportunity to thank all of our clients over the last 10 years, and wish you all a very Happy New Year. We’re very proud of what we’ve achieved together, and look forward to building on this as well as forging new connections in the next 10 years.
