After many years of building GO Get Organised, and now opening the doors to a brand-new community through SMEs Unleashed – created to support busy SME owners and leaders who are juggling so much every single day – I’d say not much surprises me anymore.

We see first-hand just how hard running a business can be. The long hours, the decisions, the pressure, and sometimes the feeling that you have to figure everything out on your own.

But this week genuinely stopped me in my tracks.

I was incredibly surprised – and honestly quite blown away to learn that I’ve been nominated for not one, but two business awards: Female Entrepreneur of the Year and SME of the Year. Thanks Southwest Business & Community Awards!

I know there are so many amazing businesses and founders out there doing incredible things every day, and the chances of winning may be slim.

But the truth is, simply being recognised feels great!

What makes this even more meaningful is that I didn’t enter us into these awards. Someone took the time our of their busy day to nominate us.

And whoever that person is – they must truly see what we’re trying to achieve.

At GO Get Organised, and through SMEs Unleashed, our mission has always been simple: to make life that little bit easier for people running small and medium-sized businesses. To create support, connection and a place where nobody feels they have to struggle alone.

Every member of our team works so hard to make that happen. I couldn’t do any of it without them.
